About Us!

Somali Justice Advocacy Center recently moved into new office space at 1806 Riverside Ave south, Suite 3, Minneapolis, MN 55454, to be closer to the area
that the communities we serve are more concentrated. The organization has seven members Board of Directors, twelve members Advisory Committee, Executive Director, Deputy Executive Director, Media and IT Person, Outreach, Analysis
and Research Person, Fundraising Coordinator, Administration and Finance
Person, Legal Affairs Adviser and one office secretary.

The Somali Justice Advocacy Center (SJAC) was founded in 2001 to advocate for, educate and empower the Somali community to enjoy full civil rights and civil liberties and ensure fair treatment of its members under the law. The organization completed a strategic planning process in 2005 and is continuing to build organizational capacity for a higher level of performance.
